Reclaiming the language of austerity.

See this post on GreenDealManchester.  It argues that there is a need for austerity, but not the austerity of the government that attacks ordinary people and their commons:  there is though a need for an ecological austerity for we are indeed living beyond the capacity of the planetary systems to regenerate resources and to absorb the various wastes produced.
