Steady State #Manchester update 29th August 2012

Steadystate Manchester update

Hello all,
a quick note about what’s going on with Steady State Manchester;
groups are meeting and working around economy, education, culture and “practical solidarity.” There are surveys (see below) about food, transport and practical solidarity.

There’s also now a facebook group and a linked in group

The report will be launched at the very end of October, exact date and venue to be confirmed shortly.

Next meetings
Weds 5th September – the “Practical Solidarity” group meets from 5:30 P.M./onwards at Jaffa, (‘Curry Mile’), Rusholme. – Needless to say, you’re very much welcome to attend this and any amount of input you could offer’d be greatly appreciated.

Weds 12th September, 6 to 9.30pm (drop-in) at Madlab, Edge St in the Northern Quarter
The “main event” within that will take place from 7.30pm to 9pm, but there is lots for people to get involved in who can only be there earlier or later…

Surveys we’d love you to fill in (they’re all quick, we promise)
