The people who came to the Madlab event on Weds 12th formed into groups and tackled various questions.
One was what sort of cultural events to stage/be present at. Here’s the list so far…

Local community social events (BBQ; fairs, plays
Games (invent a “Monopoly”)
Local History Lessons and events
Localised Money systems e.g. Bristol
Local directory (i.e. Options to get services locally
Community venues and occupations – short term leases
Book clubs
Social media
Local food walks and local nature walks
Farmers/producer/craft markets outreached to disadvantaged communities Schools
So, are we raising awareness? building a community?
